YOUR WARRANTY
ARMOUR Windshields are windshields that have been treated with ARMOUR Windshield Protection Film. If one of our customers is desirous of replacing their damaged overland vehicle windshield with an ARMOUR treated windshield, we call that windshield, treated with the ARMOUR windshield protection film, an ARMOUR Windshield. If ARMOUR Windshield Protection Film is installed onto an overland vehicle windshield, where this undamaged windshield is already installed in an overland vehicle, this product we call; ARMOUR Windshield Protection Film.
Once your ARMOUR windshield or ARMOUR Windshield Protection Film is correctly installed into or onto your overland vehicle windshield, that windshield is warrantied against all “Standard Interstate Rock Damage”. That warranty includes the repair and/or replacement of said ARMOUR windshield that has been determined to have been damaged by “Standard Interstate Rock Damage” by an authorized ARMOUR authorized inspector or adjuster.
“Standard Interstate Rock Damage” is any small rock or debris that is lodged within the tread of an overland vehicle tire that is released from said tire and then impacts your ARMOUR Windshield or ARMOUR Windshield Protection Film. Additionally, any small rock or debris that becomes lodged under a moving overland vehicle tire and is propelled into an ARMOUR Windshield or ARMOUR Windshield Protection Film, or, any small rock or debris that falls off of any overland vehicle and impacts an ARMOUR Windshield or ARMOUR Windshield Protection Film and damages said windshield, is warrantied by ARMOUR Films Group, llc where ARMOUR Films Group, llc will repair and/or replace said windshield if it is determined by an ARMOUR Claims Adjuster that the said windshield damage was the direct result of the ARMOUR definition of “Standard Interstate Rock Damage”. ARMOUR Windshields and ARMOUR Windshield Protection Films are designed to repel “Standard Interstate Rock Damage”. If one of our ARMOUR Windshields has been damaged by “Standard Interstate Rock Damage”, ARMOUR warrants that it will repair and/or replace said ARMOUR Windshield. If the ARMOUR Windshield is repairable, ARMOUR (or an authorized ARMOUR Windshield Repair Technician) will repair said windshield damage, if the damage is a star, bullseye, bullseye star combination, one legged star less than the size of a standard U.S minted quarter, or small crack, at no cost to our customer, as long as the ARMOUR Windshield Repair Technician approves the windshield damage as subject to being repaired. Windshield repair is not a perfect science. Windshield Repairs are designed to bring some clarity to said windshield breaks. Additionally, the repair is designed to prevent the small rock damage from running or spreading any further than it was observed from the original repair date. Windshield repairs are not designed to disappear after the repair is complete. All ARMOUR Windshield and ARMOUR Windshield Protection Film customers must report all damage to their ARMOUR Windshield or ARMOUR Windshield Protection Film within 48 hours of the damage occurring.
If said windshield damage is determined to be “un-repairable” by an ARMOUR Films Group, llc Adjuster; then, the ARMOUR Films Group, llc Adjuster will authorize a replacement of said windshield. The replacement windshield can be installed, with or without, the ARMOUR Windshield Protection Treatment. All windshield warranty replacements will be installed by an authorized ARMOUR windshield replacement specialist. The territory for this warranty is the contiguous U.S.
ARMOUR will not warrant any damage to an ARMOUR Windshield or ARMOUR Windshield Protection Film that is determined by an authorized ARMOUR Windshield Adjuster to be damaged by anything other than “Standard Interstate Rock Damage”. Windshield heat stress, cold stress, frame flexing stress, sand blasted, vehicle accidents, or other causes of windshield damage other than “Standard Interstate Rock Damage” are not covered by this ARMOUR Films Group, llc warranty. However, if it is determined that the ARMOUR Windshield Protection Film and/or your ARMOUR Windshield Film is defective in a way that would inhibit the “normal functionality” of any installed ARMOUR film; then, ARMOUR Films Group, llc may determine that the film must be repaired, replaced and/or removed from said vehicle windshield. The repair or reinstallation of said films would at that point be entirely up to the customer, provided the ARMOUR Warranty on that particular vehicle was active and in good standing with ARMOUR Films Group, llc. If the ARMOUR warranty is determined to be active and in good standing, then, all costs to repair, replace and/or remove said defective or damaged film, would become the sole financial responsibility of ARMOUR Films Group, llc., and, an authorized ARMOUR Films Group, llc representative would at that point take the most appropriate action to resolve the situation in the most amicable way possible.
